THE STORY
The story behind the Blue Pea Yoga name resides in Neel’s name meaning blue in Hindi and Jelix’s obsession with the colour purple. It came up in a Vipassana meditation where Jelix had a vision of the blue pea flower and was reminded of the tea made from it. When hot water is poured over the flowers, it becomes blue, and then it magically turns purple when one adds lemon juice to it. So not only do the flower and its tea have both our colours and great healing effects, they represent transformation. This is the essence of what we want to transmit. Small things that can have a deep impact and transformative effects on people.
